4 Days / 3 Nights 4 Days Luxury Golden Triangle Tour India
Enjoy a comfortable 4-day Golden Triangle tour with private driver. Explore Delhi monuments, Agra's Taj Mahal, and Jaipur's royal heritage in comfort.
Explore the 5 Days Luxury Golden Triangle Tour of India for an unforgettable travel experience.
This is the Golden Triangle at a comfortable pace: private, unhurried and well looked after. Over five days you travel between Delhi, Agra and Jaipur by chauffeured car, stay in five-star Oberoi hotels in each city and explore the great monuments with a private guide.
The rhythm is deliberately measured. You begin with a free arrival day in Delhi, spend a full day in the old and new capital, meet the Taj Mahal at sunrise, and reach Jaipur with time to appreciate it before the return to Delhi. It suits couples, milestone celebrations and travellers who value comfort and personal attention as much as the sights, and who would rather travel well than travel fast.
You are met by your chauffeur and transferred to your five-star hotel. No sightseeing is planned today, so you can settle in, adjust to the time difference and rest ahead of a full programme.
Overnight in Delhi hotel.
The day begins in the old city with Jama Masjid, the Red Fort and the market lanes of Chandni Chowk, where a rickshaw ride is an enjoyable way to take in the atmosphere. Your guide shapes the selection to your interests and the time available.
The afternoon turns to New Delhi. Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar show the Mughal and earlier Sultanate periods, while India Gate and the government buildings reflect the colonial-era capital.
You then travel by the Yamuna Expressway to Agra, about 3.5 to 4 hours away, and check in to your hotel.
Overnight in Delhi.
Rise early for the Taj Mahal. Visiting around sunrise gives you softer light on the marble and fewer people in the gardens. Your guide explains the monument’s history and details, from the inlay work to the proportions.
You return to the hotel for breakfast, then visit Agra Fort, the Mughal fortress that was once a royal residence. After a relaxed lunch you set off for Jaipur, about 240 km away, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri, the red-sandstone capital Emperor Akbar founded and left. If you prefer, the Abhaneri stepwell can be substituted.
The drive takes 4 to 5 hours without stops, so you reach Jaipur in the evening.
Overnight in Jaipur hotel.
In the morning you visit Amber Fort, a hilltop fort-palace known for its royal halls and mirrored interiors. On the way back you stop for photographs at Jal Mahal, the lake palace on Man Sagar Lake.
In the afternoon the City Palace and Jantar Mantar are seen in turn, the former for its museums and courtyards, the latter for its monumental astronomical instruments. Hawa Mahal, with its honeycomb of screened windows, is a short distance away.
Time remains for the bazaars, a good place to look at textiles and handicrafts, and your guide can suggest where to browse.
Overnight stay at Jaipur Hotel.
After breakfast you leave Jaipur for Delhi, a drive of about 5 to 6 hours. Your chauffeur drops you at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
Four nights in five-star hotels, a private chauffeured car, a private guide in each city and daily breakfast, over five days.
